There is nothing quite as refreshing in the summer as a creamy, delicious bowl of ice cream. Here in Pennsylvania, we have a quite a few delectable ice cream spots. So much so, that you should consider taking this ice cream road trip.
King Cone’s Castle
The first stop on our trip is to this fun shop in Butler. Here, you can choose from among 48 flavors of hand-scooped ice cream and 22 flavors of soft serve.
Mazzanti’s Beans and Cream
This next shop is still in Butler. It is a walk-up counter type parlor and features homemade ice cream and delectable treats like shakes, sundaes, and more.
Next, we will head east to New Castle to visit the Forbush Drive-In. It serves up soft, creamy, delectable ice cream.
Klavon’s Ice Cream Parlor
For our final stop, we’re heading to Pittsburgh. Klavon’s has been around since 1923 and has a delightfully retro feel along with its delicious ice cream. From here, it is just a short drive back to Glenshaw.
