There are tons of things to do in the Pittsburgh area. Named one of the top locations to live in the US, the city offers a number of activities, events, and festivals—especially during the summer. At Joe Ball GMC, we’ve put together a post on the latest June events in Pittsburgh to help you make the most of the warm weather.
According to Visit Pittsburgh, you should definitely check out the Beauty of the Burgh. This event is a bike tour through the city that lets you see the cultural and financial districts of the city, as well as local landmarks. The tour is three hours long, and it costs about $23 per person. These tours extend several months, so if you can’t go in June you can see the city another time.
Next, check out the Community Garden Party. Put on by the Mattress Factory, this annual tradition is on June 18 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. This event celebrates the community, offering performances, great food, and a range of activities for all ages. If you love garden parties, you don’t want to miss this one.
Finally, visit the Feed More Festival. This event is for the local food bank, and it will be held on June 10 from 2:00pm to 10:00pm. The Food Bank serves people in the community in an attempt to eliminate hunger once and for all. Bands that will perform include The Naked and Famous, Bad Custer, Joy Ike, and more. These are just some of the great events happening in June this year.
